Slightly harsh words from Ol' Blue eyes but lets face it, he was surrounded by snarling kids who looked like they had bit parts in "The Wild One".

Jealous are a Rock n Roll band and they dont apologise for it. In 2009, its not cool, hip or trendy, in fact its just plain awkward. Jealous thrive on being uncompromising and playing what they want and not what the "In crowd" want them to play!

With a loutish swagger and a glitzy glam snarl, Jealous are cutting loose from hometown Manchester. Backing up all that Manc attitude is a sound that's like a car crash between The Strokes and Ziggy Stardust. Live the band strut and punch way above their weight. They kick like The Pistols and have The Stones at their most soulful running through their veins. And in the middle of all this, the songs..! Sleaze infested floor fillers, achingly beautiful ballads and classic Rock n Roll anthems.

At the end of 2007 Jealous released the 4 track Ep "We Love You" on a small indie label. In 2008 they made a video for "Dealer"and signed to a new Management company. The whole of 2008 saw the band increase the live following through a string of "Electric shows". Radio stations picked up on the 4 track Ep and interest from the USA grew. In the summer of 2009 Jealous played the Strummercamp festival with The Damned, The Alarm and Billy Bragg and signed to American Label "Octave Match Records". With continued support from the bands UK Publishing company Notting Hill Music, Jealous are now in the studio with Martin Coogan &Yves Altana recoding their first release on "OMRecords".
